Bowery Boy Blue: Music
Come Closer, Sisters
(Bowery Boy Blue)

And I always liked the way you said the word "buried" with a 'u' and not an 'a', like you're "Buuried" in the ground. But the hawks sing it, sing it like they speak it, like it's parted - parted down the middle - parted like a heart.
And I always caught the words that you spit from your city. Words like to live, words like "forgive", but some words just try to kill me. And here they come - flyin' from the great mouth of Zeus. And here they come - lookin' like the blackest cloud. Killin' the sun. Look at them now.
And I always thought the great wooden gods had no problem with me, but that's not true, and it's always been said, but I just didn't wanna see. Come look at your brother - with a burden in his eyes like a backbone, and a 'u' and not an 'a', like he's 'buuried' in the ground - Come closer sisters, come and look at them now. Come closer sisters, come and look at them now. Come closer sisters, come and look at them.
